These Terms of Use define the rules, responsibilities and limitations related to the use of Lean Champions Community and its digital platform modules.

Last updated: 20.06.2026

1. Platform Purpose

Lean Champions Community is a professional digital platform designed for Lean manufacturing, operational excellence, audits, corrective actions, collaboration, training, dashboards, reporting and process improvement activities. The platform may include modules such as 5S audits, QRQC workflows, KPI dashboards, presentations, training content, AI-assisted tools, corrective action management and communication features. The platform is intended for professional and business-related use only.

2. Registration and Account Approval

Access to the platform may require user registration. Newly created accounts may be subject to administrator approval before activation. The platform reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, limit or terminate accounts and access rights at its own discretion. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Account sharing is prohibited unless explicitly authorized by the platform administrator.

3. Operational Notifications and External Recipients

The platform may allow users to assign tasks, corrective actions, responsibilities or operational notifications to external recipients, including individuals who do not have registered platform accounts. External email addresses may be entered manually by users. Operational notifications may be sent automatically by the system. Recipient registration is not required. The user entering recipient information is responsible for its accuracy. Lean Champions Community is not responsible for incorrectly entered email addresses, unintended recipients or communication issues caused by user input. Such notifications are considered legitimate business-related system communications. External recipients may request removal from future notifications where applicable.

4. Corporate and Shared Environment Usage

The platform may be used in shared corporate environments involving employees, suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, external auditors, customer representatives and cross-company operational teams. Users are responsible for ensuring that any information entered into the platform is appropriate for the intended recipients and business context.

5. Communication and Product Updates

By creating an account, registering or using the platform, users agree that Lean Champions Community may send operational notifications, system alerts, security notices, account messages, product updates, new module announcements, feature releases, educational content, Lean-related information and platform-related communications. Users may opt out of non-essential communications where technically applicable. Essential operational and security messages may still be sent when necessary.

6. Company References and Community Showcase

Companies and organizations using the platform may be referenced as part of the customer ecosystem, community participation, platform showcase, benchmarking initiatives, testimonials or case studies, unless explicitly requested otherwise by the respective organization. Lean Champions Community will not intentionally disclose confidential operational data, production metrics, sensitive business information or internal company details without authorization.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, software modules, workflows, templates, presentations, dashboards, designs, methodologies, documents and training materials are protected intellectual property. Users may not copy, redistribute, resell, reproduce, reverse engineer, modify or commercially exploit platform materials without explicit written permission. Uploaded user content remains the responsibility of the uploading party.

8. User-Generated Content

Users remain solely responsible for uploaded files, images, comments, audit information, corrective actions, attachments, operational notes and communication content. The platform reserves the right to remove content considered abusive, inappropriate, unlawful, misleading, harmful, confidentially risky or disruptive to platform operations.

9. Data, Analytics and AI Features

The platform may use anonymized analytics, aggregated statistics, operational usage data, automation workflows and AI-assisted recommendations for product improvement, benchmarking, reporting, platform optimization and future feature development. AI-generated outputs are supportive tools only and should not be treated as guaranteed operational decisions. Users remain responsible for all business, quality, safety and operational decisions.

10. Audit and Operational Records

Audit records, corrective actions, attachments and operational logs generated within the platform are intended to support internal operational processes. The platform does not guarantee regulatory compliance, certification compliance, audit pass results, customer approval or conformity with internal company procedures unless explicitly agreed through a separate written agreement.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

User data is processed for platform functionality, account management, operational workflows, communication, traceability, analytics, security and system improvement purposes. The platform aims to comply with applicable data protection regulations, including GDPR where applicable. Users are responsible for ensuring that the data they enter is lawful, appropriate and necessary for the intended business purpose.

12. Data Retention

The platform may retain operational data, audit history, corrective actions, attachments, logs and communication records for system integrity, traceability, analytics, operational continuity, legal, security or compliance purposes. Retention periods may vary depending on subscription level, company configuration, operational needs and platform policies.

13. Security and Access Control

Users agree not to attempt unauthorized access, bypass permissions, test vulnerabilities, overload infrastructure, perform automated scraping, reverse engineer platform behavior or interfere with operational workflows. Security incidents may result in access restriction, suspension, permanent removal or legal action where applicable.

14. Platform Availability

The platform is provided on an “as available” and “as provided” basis. Lean Champions Community does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent uptime, error-free operation or compatibility with all devices, browsers, networks or corporate firewalls. Scheduled maintenance, updates, infrastructure changes or third-party service interruptions may affect availability.

15. Third-Party Services

The platform may integrate with or use third-party services, including hosting providers, email providers, analytics systems, authentication systems, payment systems, AI services or automation technologies. Lean Champions Community is not responsible for outages, delays, limitations or failures caused by third-party providers.

16. Subscription and Access Model

Certain modules, features or services may require subscription plans, enterprise licensing, paid access, role-based permissions, trial access or administrator approval. Lean Champions Community reserves the right to modify pricing, feature availability, access levels, licensing structure and module packaging at any time.

17. Beta Features and Experimental Modules

Certain modules, AI features, reports, dashboards or automation functions may be released as beta, preview, experimental or limited-access functionality. Such features may change without notice, contain limitations, produce incomplete results or be modified, restricted or discontinued at any time.

18. Limitation of Liability

Lean Champions Community provides tools intended to support operational and manufacturing activities. The platform shall not be held liable for production losses, operational interruptions, incorrect user-entered data, missed deadlines, workflow misuse, external communication issues, business decisions, compliance failures or financial losses based on platform data or usage.

19. Administrative Authority

Platform administrators may moderate content, manage permissions, access operational records, review audit history, investigate misuse, manage company-level settings and perform support actions for operational, security, maintenance and compliance purposes.

20. International Use

Users accessing the platform from different countries or jurisdictions are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws, internal corporate policies and applicable data protection requirements.

21. No Employment or Partnership Relationship

Use of the platform does not create employment, partnership, agency, franchise, representative, subcontracting or joint venture relationships between Lean Champions Community and any user, company or organization.

22. Force Majeure

Lean Champions Community shall not be held liable for delays, interruptions or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including internet outages, power failures, cyberattacks, infrastructure failures, natural disasters, labor disputes, governmental restrictions or third-party service disruptions.

23. Future Platform Expansion

The platform may expand with additional modules, AI systems, integrations, subscription plans, enterprise services, automation features, reporting systems and analytics capabilities without requiring separate acceptance unless legally required.

24. Changes to Terms

Lean Champions Community reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued registration, access or use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
